London Cocktail Week has been extended to a month this year, and there’s never been a better time to support the hospitality industry (safely and socially distancing). Below, we’ve rounded up five of our favourite spots in the City taking part.

Swingers City

Thought Swingers was just for crazy golf? It’s not a bad idea to get a game or two in while you’re there, of course, but don’t write it off as a fantastic bar and dining venue in itself. As part of LCW they’re offering up a ‘Southside Swinger‘ cocktail for £6 – think gin & tonic meets mojito – or an Earl Grey & hibiscus concoction for ‘tee’totallers. Click here for more info.

Oriole

Fans of atmospheric basement bars (us included) will be thrilled to hear Oriole is finally reopening its doors. To celebrate LCW they’ve teamed up with Laphroaig whisky for an ‘1815 Highball‘ cocktail – plus an exclusive virtual reality event taking you to the Laphroaig library. Click here for more info on the cocktail and here to book into the VR experience.

Find it: E Poultry Ave

Bread Street Kitchen

In another tantalising partnership, Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen have teamed up with Edrington Beam-Suntory for some Wellington-themed cocktails (that go beautifully with their iconic Beef Wellingtons, natch). Their LCW offering is a ‘Duke of Wellington‘ Laphroaig concoction, which you can enjoy for £6 – or as part of a one-off, four course dining event on 23 October, the Wellington & Whisky Dinner. Click here for tickets and here for more info about the cocktail.

Hawksmoor & Spitalfields Bar

Hawksmoor are offering up some fruitier concoctions as part of LCW with two gin cocktails: the ‘Blackberry & Apple Gimlet’ with apple, cider brandy and blackberry cordial, or the ‘Flora & Fauna‘ with rasperry jam, ginger and lemon. Enjoy them both at Hawksmoor Guildhall or at Spitalfields Bar, their basement bar in East London. Click here for more info.

Find it: 10 Basinghall St (Guildhall) / 157A Commercial St (Spitalfields)

Millie’s Bar at The Ned

Last but not least, enjoy a cocktail in one of LCW’s most popular venues: The Ned hotel. Millie’s Bar is serving up a ‘Bombay Bramble‘ for wristband-holders: a refreshing Bombay Bramble gin, lemon & sugar cocktail. Click here for more info.

Find it: 27 Poultry (The Ned)
