There’s a new exhibition in town. Sense of Space, a quirky immersive experience focused on re-engaging the senses, launched in Broadgate earlier this month. Here’s the best part: it’s free.
The exhibition will run until 18 May, but as an added extra, organisers have put together a grand finale. This weekend, Sense of Space will welcome Secret of Senses, a gastronomic experience designed alongside Professor Charles Spence and Jozef Youssef from The Kitchen Theory.
This part isn’t free, but here’s the kicker: they’re giving away free tickets. Keep reading to find out how you can win one…and what it’s all about.
*pause for excitement*
Escape the hustle and bustle of the City, as you explore four different rooms, where you can view, touch and feel installations by artists including Mr Doodle and graphic designer Supermundane, a.k.a. Rob Lowe.
But what’s in the rooms, you ask?

The Doodle Room
Here, Mr Doodle is staging a four-day ‘live’ doodle, an art installation of his well-known ‘Spaghetti Graffiti’ artwork.
The Motion Box
After you’ve had your fill of doodles, head into the Motion Box, which is a completely blacked-out space. With the use of gesture recognition technology, your movements will be transformed into colour and light. And, the silence of the room will calm your other senses. In other words, you’re the artist and the art.

The Infinity Garden
It’s all floral; created by design studio Early Hours, this room features an abstract meadow of blossom trees, with accompanying sound of a peaceful garden. Inspired by the season of Hanami – a Japanese tradition of flower viewing.

The Zen Studio
End your experience in the aptly named Zen Studio. The purpose of this room is to make you relax, and let go of any stress that you’ve carrying around. A break from your hectic schedule, if only for a few minutes. And, it smells like lavender in there too (and who doesn’t like lavender).
